Rabies awareness and clinic

In the past week, animal control officials in Cary have confirmed a case of a rabid fox that attacked a jogger and two dogs.  This is a timely reminder to make sure that your pets are vaccinated!

Under North Carolina law, if your pet comes in contact with an animal that tests positive for rabies and is not vaccinated, your pet must either be euthanized or subject to a 6-month quarantine, which is provided at your own expense!  This is a great reason to make sure your pets vaccinations are up to date (aside from not wanting your furry friend to get rabies in the first place).

Twilight Meadows is happy to announce that on Saturday, September 17th, we will be providing a rabies clinic at the Woofgang Bakery at 13600 Falls of Neuse Rd, Raleigh.  At this clinic we will provide rabies vaccinations for your pets, as well as microchipping using our preferred microchips from Save This Life.  Learn more about these great chips at www.savethislife.com.  While you’re there, you can also check out some of the great products available at the Woof Gang Bakery.  Vaccination hours will be from 11am – 1pm.  Vaccines are $10 and microchipping is $25.  We hope to see you there, and look forward to help keeping your pets safe!
